10 on Wednesday

I have so much to say so I might as well make it 10 things. Smile Sorry in advance because this is super long and completely pictureless!
1.  Jesse just about died over my accent vlog. Sometimes he checks the blog on the iPad when we’re in bed. When he came across my vlog a few nights ago I tried to convince him not to watch it, but he did anyway. We were both laughing so hard that I was crying.  I’m pretty sure that he thinks it ranks up there as one of the dorkiest things I’ve ever done.  Haha.
2. Now that Halloween is over, it’s time to start focusing on E’s Christmas attire.  Would it be too much if she wore Christmas themed outfits every day in December? I don’t think so…
3. She’s getting her 6 month photos taken next week and I am in love with the cute stuff she’s going to wear! I can’t wait! We’re also getting family photos taken.  I’m super excited about this. Now I just need to find a cute outfit for myself.
4. I got a flu shot for the first time ever yesterday. I’ve never had the flu and I’ve always refused the flu shot. But they recommend that parents with small children get it so I did. I’ll do ANYTHING for my baby girl.
5. I love when I find out that people I know read my blog! Yesterday I got a sweet message from a friend (Hey Leann!) letting me know that she keeps up with us through the blog. It’s so awesome to know that friends and family that I haven’t seen in forever get to watch Emerson grow up and keep up with everything that is going on with us. On that note, are there any more of  you out there that I don’t know about? Smile
6. I didn’t workout on the first day of my own workout challenge. How sad is that? But I am definitely working out today!
7. The Marine Corps Ball is VERY close and I still haven’t figured out what I’m going to do with my hair. To top it off, I tried my dress on last night and realized that one of the straps is sewn in twisted. I think I’m going to try to fix it myself….
8. Emerson had a checkup yesterday and the doc gave the go ahead to start introducing solids. She recommended rice cereal but I’ve read a lot of research saying that it’s fine to skip the rice cereal and go straight to veggies. I’m thinking avocado. It’s funny how little things like that excite me to no end.
9. I forgot to tell y’all that I go pulled over last week on my way to pick up Jesse from work. I was cruising along, singing my heart out to Emerson’s Kindermusik CD, when a car pulled up beside me with flashing lights. They rolled down the window and signaled for me to pull over. I’m not gonna lie- I was absolutely terrified. The policeman barely spoke English so it was hard for me to understand what he was asking for. He just checked my license and registration and then went back to this car. I was literally shaking by the time it was over. Now I’m super paranoid when I’m driving.
10. I’ve decided to join in on 30 Days of Thankfulness. Each day for the month of November I will list something I am thankful for.
Since I didn’t do it yesterday here are mine for the last two days.

Nov.1- I’m thankful for my wonderful husband who takes such good care of Emerson and me.
Nov. 2- I’m thankful for my gorgeous baby girl who lights up each day with her sweet little smile.
What are you thankful for?

I LOVED your accent vlog and am still working on getting up the courage to do one myself...although I know the jokes from the hubs will be endless;) What a crazy story about getting pulled over - I'm SO glad everything is ok and they didn't try to pull anything sketchy:)

Hope you guys are having a great week - I'm dying to see Emereson's christmas ensembles..I know they will be adorable:)

We started with Avocado and now it's one of the only healthy thing she likes to eat.

It's so much better for them than that rice cereal.
