We had a pretty laid back weekend. The weather was pretty nice so we spent quite a bit of time outside.

We did a little bit of this

and a little bit of that.

We also spent some time here:

And somebody learned to climb.

Looks like we're in trouble now!

In non-weekend related news:

-I was able to FaceTime with a dear friend and it was so nice to catch up! We also talked to Mimi several times this weekend. I know I say this all the time but modern technology is simply amazing!

-I started week 1 of this Turbo Fire and Chalean Extreme hybrid. Yesterday was CE Burn Circuit 1 and I am SO sore today. I haven't been lifting weights these last few weeks and I can definitely tell! Anyway- the workout schedule does require 6 workouts a week for 12 weeks. Like I've mentioned before, I don't really know how likely that is but I'm going to do my best! I'll probably do occasional updates here and I'll also post each workout on The Daily Mile (you can see the widget in my sidebar.)

-I promised I would give an update on what I thought of Brazil Butt Lift so here goes: I did it for 3 weeks but I didn't follow the program exactly. I mixed in some other workouts and I didn't do as many workouts as it said to. That being said, I could really tell a difference in my legs by the end of the third week. I think it has great workouts to mix in with another program but I don't think it's enough by itself. It also gets pretty repetitious because there are only 4 workouts. I was starting to get bored by the end of last week, which is why I decided to move onto something else.

-Paper Coterie is hosing a fun photo challenge for the month of April. I'm usually so bad at keeping up with these things but I'm going to do my best. For more info go here.

Here are my photos for April 1st and 2nd:

1. my home

Because no matter where we are, Texas will always be home.

2. my handwriting

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

I was wondering about the chalkboard. Did you write that with regularnchalk or is there some sort of chalk pen you can use? I want a chalkboard but I know my handwriting would look terrible. Any tips? Or are you just mega talented?

Such adorable photos! I must admit once she starts climbing on the dishwasher it seems like that phase is pretty constant (climbing on things). What a neat challenge
