Miscellany Monday

Hey everyone! It's time for another round of miscellany Monday. It's my chance to fill you in on all the little details that I know you are just dying to know. Haha!

-I haven't been the best about taking pictures lately. Just a few iPhone pics here and there. I need to get better about it! Emerson, on the other hand, has become a real pro.

-To be honest, I haven't been the best about anything lately. I've been in a bit of a rut in many aspects: blogging, exercising, crafting, eating healthy, reading, etc. I don't know why, but I am DETERMINED to get out of it this week. With every blessing I have in my life, I have absolutely no reason to not be jumping up and down with joy. Does anyone else ever feel that way?

-Have you seen all of the fun 31 Days series over at The Nester? I am pretty amazed at all of the neat topics that people came up with. I wish I had time to go through and read them all but for now I've chosen a few favorite to follow along with.

-Does anyone else love children's books as much as I do? I have to admit we are *slightly* obsessed around here. I was super excited when we got our shipment of Halloween books a few days ago. They are too cute!
- I really want to do the Christmas book advent calendar this year but I don't have enough Christmas books. Too bad I don't have my teacher stash anymore because we would have enough Christmas books to last from now until Christmas! :) Maybe I will check out Ebay or something...

-I am so super excited for several friends that have recently announced pregnancies! Some are expecting their first sweet baby and some are expecting their second. I was always excited for people who were pregnant before I had Emerson. But now that I have my own precious girl and I know just how amazing it is, I often find myself crying tears of joy for my sweet friends. It's just such a blessing!

-I wanted to write more today, but I hear someone calling me from her crib so I guess this is it for today. Hopefully I'll have some better posts coming up this week!

Happy Columbus Day! :)

I have been the worst crafter lately! Poor Liam doesn't even have pants for his Halloween costume yet! I haven't touched any of it in weeks!

And I'm going to do the Christmas book thing because I still have all my teaching books in the attic and most of them are christmas books! Did you get rid of yours or are they in storage somewhere? You could do it next year!

Oh and I went to the gym this morning for the first time in nearly THREE weeks. Workout fail! You're not alone!

I am totally guilty of not jumping up & down for all the good in my life lately...feel like it's truly better than ever and yet I complain :( I need to remedy that! Yay for your Halloween books, what a cute idea!! I hope I am fostering a book lover - it looks like you are too. What a wonderful gift we can give them!
