HBBC Week 1

Today I'm linking up with the lovely Jill Conyers to share my recap of my first week of the Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge. I'm happy to say that it was a success. My goal this week was to stick to the workout plan provided for Week 4 of Body Revolution and I'm happy to say that I did it! I also wanted to try to add in something extra each day since the workouts are only 30 minutes long. I did this on most days, but not all. Overall I'm pretty happy with my workouts this week. Being part of the challenge has really motivated me to get in an extra few minutes of exercise each day and to eat my fruits and veggies!
Workouts This Week:
Monday- Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Workout 3, Turbo Fire HIIT 20
Tuesday- Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Workout 4, 1 mile run (10:40)
Wednesday- Rest day/2 mile walk pushing E in stroller
Thursday- 3 mile run (30:11)
Friday- Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Workout 3, one mile run (9:49)
Saturday- Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Workout 4
Sunday- Turbo Fire HIIT 30
By the Numbers:
Workouts: 7 (including a 2 mile walk with little E)

Miles: 7
Minutes: 269
Strength/Core Workouts: 4

Fruits/Veggie Servings: 7 days
Total HBBC Points: 38 (this included 12 bonus points)

Today was the last day of Phase 1 of Body Revolution. Tomorrow I'll start Phase 2, Week 5. I'm excited that I've stuck with it this long and I just hope I can continue following the schedule. I'm really looking forward to some new workouts but I have a feeling they'll be tough!

My goal for this week is to stick with the BR workout schedule and to do a 3 mile run in under 30 minutes.

I know that I won't win the HBBC challenge but I'm still glad I'm doing it. It was just the extra push I needed to keep plugging along with my workouts.

It looks like you had a great week! I am loving this challenge, and love the new blogs I have found through participating! I am doing #HBBC2012 and Runner's World Run streak, so I have been running everyday, with my kids on bikes or my daughter drove our truck beside me one night so I wasn't alone in the dark. Kids on wheels has really helped my speed, lol! Have a great 2nd week!
