A Little Life Update

-The Marine Corps Ball was an absolute blast (maybe a little too much fun!) and everything went off without a hitch. I know Jesse and his Marines are relieved to have it over and done with. I ended up taking my little point and shoot camera with me and I'm afraid the pictures really didn't turn out very well. But luckily there were professional photographers shooting the whole night so as soon I get the disc I'll share tons of pictures, but until then here's one that turned out okay.

-Emerson had the best time roaming the hotel the day before and the day after the ball.

-It's pretty much impossible to get a decent picture with her these days but that doesn't stop me from trying.

-It has rained and rained and rained here over the last few days. It's one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen! It's been cloudy and rainy and even a little bit chilly and I have loved every second of it.

-Today starts Week 3 of the HBBC challenge. Although I didn't get a chance to blog about Week 2, I'm still going strong. I only did 5 workouts last week as opposed to the 6 I had planned, but I'm hoping to make up for it this week.

-I'm officially addicted to juicing. I have always loved tomato juice and V8 so I'm not surprised how much I love homemade vegetable juice. If you haven't tried it, you really should. It's addictive! I don't really follow any recipes- I just throw in whatever vegetables we have. I've also been using the pulp to make veggie patties. I hate wasting so it seemed like the perfect solution.

-I am so annoyed with Blogger for saying that I am out of picture storage when it clearly shows that I have only used 40 percent. Right now I'm uploading pictures to Flickr and then pasting in the HTML code. It's such a pain and makes every post take twice as long. :(

-I mentioned last week that I had some exciting news to share. I still plan on sharing but Jesse has asked me to hold off for a few more weeks until it is official.  I can tell you that it is Marine Corps related. :)

-Yesterday I installed a countdown app on my phone. It feels like our move home is SO close yet SO far away at the same time. Eeek!                      (The exact days left/date is blurred out just to be on the safe side.)

-We don't have much planned this week so I'm hoping to get started on organizing and purging. I think our move will go much more smoothly if I have everything super organized. The first place I need to start is my craft room. It seriously looks like a fabric and thread bomb went off in there. Wish me luck!

You look amazing! I think I would LOVE juicing too. I use to love V8 but then I found out how much sodium it has in it and I stopped drinking it. I can not wait to hear your big news :)

I'm loving E's cute fall outfits, and you look gorgeous at the Marine Corps Ball!

Your juicing thing though is grossing me out, haha! The best I've been able to do is a fruit smoothie with a little bit of spinach in it. Just thinking about drinking tomato juice and V8 make we want to throw up, so I think I'll skip the liquid veggie platter! But good for you - you're WAY healthier than I'll ever be!!

You look stunning in that first picture! My mom loves to juice and she's tried to get me hooked on it, but I just can't. I'm not a juice person. I can barely do smoothies!

You look gorgeous! Can't wait to see the whole dress ; ) We have my Hubs' work party this Friday, I call it the Adult Prom, lol! Love E's sparkly red shoes too! And I JUST went through that storage issue with Blogger - so annoying. I ended up buying extra storage for $2.49/month to make my life easier. They so have me pegged.
