Scenes from Fiddlesticks Farms

Visiting the pumpkin patch was another one of those fall activities that I have longed for over the last few years. I remember seeing everyone's pictures last year and just thinking how much fun it would be once we finally got our chance. While we were in Texas,   my mom and I took Emerson to the West Texas version of a pumpkin patch. They don't really grow pumpkins there so it was really just a bunch of pumpkins stacked in a dirt field but I promise Emerson didn't know the difference. She was so stinkin' excited!

They also had a bunch of animals for the kids to look at. Emerson loved the goats and she even got to pet a baby pig.

If I had to pick her favorite part of the day, I'd say it was the cow train. She loved riding around, even with the dirt blowing in her face. (Gotta love West Texas!)

There were a few other activities at the farm for older kids, but Emerson seemed pretty thrilled with what we did. I'm thinking we may have to pay a visit to our local pumpkin patch sometime this week.  We're making up for lost time, after all! :)

Looks like such a fun time! I get jealous when I see everyone's Fall/pumpkin pictures, too. It's especially strange seeing all those things while living in the Southern Hemisphere where it's technically Fall. I just can't wrap my head around that, so I persist with my few fall decorations in our house :-) Oh, and you and your mom resemble each other so much!

I have no idea how I missed this post, but I'm so happy that I saw it b/c her little face is priceless!! I'm so glad you were finally able to take her to a pumpkin patch- even if there was a lot of dirt!! ;) And you look as cute as ever with your little baby bump!!
