Baby #2: 38 Weeks

I swear I'm going to get at least one more real belly picture that does not include my cell phone and the bathroom mirror before this baby is born! :)

How Far Along: 38 Weeks and one day! This is officially the longest I've been pregnant, as E was born at exactly 38 weeks!

Size of baby: About 19.5 inches long and 6.8 pounds and gaining an ounce a day! (We haven't had an ultrasound since 28 weeks so we really have no idea just how big this girl is going to be. Emerson was 7 lbs 4 ozs. I'm guessing 7 lbs 8 ozs and Jesse is guessing 6 lbs 8 ozs.)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +32 pounds. I may just his 35 pounds after all!

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Gender: A baby girl, Adelyn Elise

Movement: Quite a bit! I've tried a few times to get Emerson to feel it but she refuses.

Symptoms: Heartburn has returned a little bit in the evenings but Tums seems to help. Last night I had a couple of pretty good contractions so I was really, really hoping it might be the real deal but they stopped as soon as I sat down. Other than that I have to say that I'm feeling really good. I'm still able to do everything with Emerson that I've always done and that makes me happy. I've been blessed with a relatively easy pregnancy!

Sleep: Not the best. Lots of tossing and turning!

What I miss: I'm ready for a beer or a glass of wine and I'm looking forward to getting back into working out

Cravings: Chocolate

Best Moment This Week: I had a doctor's appointment Tuesday and was happy to hear that some progress is happening! I'm praying we will meet our sweet girl sooner rather than later! I can't wait to kiss her little cheeks!!

I'm also happy to say that the nursery is complete, the bags are packed, and the house is ready. I had a long list of cleaning/organizing projects that I wanted to do and I am pretty much finished. It feels good to have it done but it's also hard because now I feel like I'm just sitting around waiting. I feel like I need to be doing something...

Woohoo, any day now! Good for you for being so prepared, now you just have to relax and wait! (Which is the hardest thing I know). I can't wait for the "She's Here" post!! Although you better post on IG before that bc I'm impatient :)
