L Fam Weekly Feb. 1-7

One last trip to Ikea was in order since we won't have one nearby.  I went for some organizing items but that didn't stop us from checking out some furniture.

That night we went in the girls' room one last time to check on them and Emerson wasn't in our bed. After a brief panic we realized she was in Adelyn's crib. Sweet girls.

We had a playdate with some sweet friends but I failed and only took 1 picture. Oops!!

Emerson had a long day at preschool so Adelyn and I spent the morning at home. We did some cleaning and organizing but also a lot of cuddling.
She is always climbing everything and we find her in the most dangerous places. Don't worry though, this photo is totally staged.  I just wanted to freak Jesse out and it totally worked. Haha!
That night, Emerson spent lots of time with her favorite buddy.

Lots of books and cuddles.
Parker had to go to the vet for his check-up and vaccinations.  Taking both of the kids and the dog right at dinner time was probably not the best idea but they actually did pretty well.
Emerson's lamp was making the cutest silhouettes so I had to document it. Sweet girls.
These shadows are perfect representation of my girls and their personalities.

She picked out her own accessories this morning.
My 2.5 year old Vitamin suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago. We use it almost daily so I was  pretty upset.  On Friday I took it back to Costco to see what I could do and they gave me a full refund. Talk about amazing customer service! The Vitamix roadshow was there and I was able to upgrade to a better one practically for free! I LOVE Costco and I can't wait to put that bad boy to use.

That night we had out last date night in San Diego. Jesse and his friend planned a fun night out for us and kept it a surprise.  We had so much fun.

We spent the day getting stuff ready for our move.  We are so ready to get there and get settled! This was our last night in our San Diego home!
We knew we had a lot to do but we started with a few lazy minutes. I love drinking coffee in bed and apparently Adelyn does too.
Sunday included breakfast with friends, taking Parker to a petsitter, packing our suitcases and checking into our hotel. We finished the evening with dinner at Chipotle.
Adelyn was pretty excited to be at the hotel! Sadly the excitement wore off when she work up at 1 am and didn't go back to sleep until 5! It was a rough night but I feel like it's just par for the course with such a big change happening.

Wow! What a week! It's only going to get busier as we say goodbye to San Diego and prepare for the journey to North Carolina.
